Waves wash the sand, a mighty wind breaks out,
River water pounds against a copper pot.
Alone, I determine the fate of the Hu-Sai dust,
The vast desert and the return of the frontiersmen both in my thrust.
Mountains carry clouds and mists,
From the county, I move to the corner of the city,
Moon rises above the water's surface,
People's heads rest on green apples.
Thousand chambers and ten thousand households far away,
How can I find a place to live my life?
Wandering and lingering in the wilderness,
From the drum, I take another journey.
Who knows about my brother?
The elderly and orphans suffer in bitterness.
Birds sing on the mountains as if mourning,
When people leave, the buildings become empty.
Long nights without understanding voices,
Driving the horse to chase the vast unknown.
Why should I long for drifting away,
Both are heroes of the South.
Awakening of spring in early solar term,
All things come alive again.
Heroic hearts full of vigor,
Floating clouds move towards the east.
Now, I begin to sleep like a wild goose,
Toasting the Shu brocade with a wine pot.
Living alone, who do I have close by?
Speaking privately in front of flowers,
My pleasure lies in sharing with you, my friend.
Heading to the east of the river, shooting toward the green,
Selecting a floating boat on the sea.
As a humble person, I manage to live,
Without the support of high position and fame.
Friends often haven't been seen,
Loyal advice is believed and heard.
Hidden plots of the enemy resemble promises,
